These are videos that I like: Old Time Musketry – “Drifter”

Old Time Musketry - "Drifter"Today’s featured video is from the quartet Old Time Musketry, performing the song “Drifter,” which appears on both their previous album Different Times and their new one, Drifter.

This show was part of the CD release concert for their debut, held at Brooklyn’s Firehouse Space.  You can read about that album on Bird is the Worm (LINK).  Their newest, Drifter, was a recommendation on this week’s This Is Jazz Today (LINK).  Be sure to check those albums out.  They’re both solid folk-jazz recordings.  Also, it appears the band uploaded a bunch of videos from this performance, so if you like this video, head on over to YouTube and check out their others (LINK).

Your video personnel:  JP Schlegelmilch (accordion), Adam Schneit (saxophone), Phil Rowan (bass) and Max Goldman (drums).

I hope your weekend is proceeding along nicely, thus far.

Cheers.
