Søren Dahl Jeppesen Quartet – “Route One”

I recently posted a review of the Søren Dahl Jeppesen Quartet‘s Route One.  Here’s a video of a live performance of a tune from that album.

I love this video.  I know the camera gets shaky at times, the sound crackles at one point, and an infant decides to lend some vocal accompaniment when the mood suits it, but just that wide open space and the big windows that look out over that beautiful Copenhagen winter landscape… well, this is the kind of thing that just floats my boat.  And it’s the perfect scenery for this lovely, serene music.
